DCA has rolled out the first update to the Submission Agreement Builder Tool (a product of an NHRPC grant) and one major update is that the main form is now known as the Transfer Agreement Form. The other exciting news is that for the first time DCA is making available general guidelines on how we preserve different materials, both physical and digital. Admittedly there are a few embarrassing typos that we need to get in there and fix, but this is still a product that was talked about three years ago and it's finally coming into fruition. So if you are interested in how DCA handles different digital formats under our care, take a look at this webpage. And rest assured that we perform conversions on files, we don't have conversations with them - probably need to fix that typo ASAP.
