COVID-19 Web Archives

As part of Tufts Archival Research Center's COVID-19 Documentation project, we have started a web archive collection specific to Tufts University’s response to the pandemic. It includes website updates, press releases, and blogs from Tufts schools and offices that communicate vital information about the functioning of the University; social media posts from student groups that rally the community and help students stay connected; and articles from student publications working remotely to keep the community informed of the latest Tufts-related developments. The collection will be updated on a weekly basis with new announcements, articles, and social media posts. It can be viewed here, in TARC’s Archive-It page.

If you have suggestions for websites that should be added to the collection, please email Sally Benny at archives@tufts.edu.

This work is part of TARC’s larger web archiving services, which include Tufts websites dating back to 2009 as well as web archives that complement TARC’s archives and manuscript collections. TARC’s archivists capture and catalog websites utilizing the Internet Archives’ Archive-IT program, and manage this collection continually throughout the year.
